This blog is solely composed of the content for my ENC 1102 Research Literacy Paper. With a primary concentration on Edgar Allan Poe's The Black Cat, many aspects of the story and Poe's life will be explored in order to illuminate and delve further into this suspenseful, chilling text.

As a secondary focus, I will research into Edgar Allan Poe's life and struggle with alcohol.  My main argument consists of: Alcoholism had an effect on both the this particular piece of literature and Poe's life.
